Pets for Life is a program from The Humane Society of the United States to builds humane communities using innovative strategies and fresh approaches designed to extend the reach of animal services, resources, and information to under-served areas. Addressing the critical need for accessible, affordable pet care, our program helps animals by empowering the people who care for them.
Being able to follow the work of this program so closely and capture the results on camera is motivating. The smile of a person when they’re able to get some help and learn how to properly care for their animals is a great reward. The footage for this feature came from Louisiana, California and Pensilvania chapters, amongst others.
This program runs solely on donations and it never charges the needed communities for any of their services, so it’s always available to someone who needs them. To see what communities are being covered by the program and learn more about Pets for Life, CLICK HERE!
