STREETS OF HOPE: HELPING DOGS IN THE PHILIPPINES

STREETS OF HOPE - STILL (400x300)Streets of Hope is a mini-documentary video for The Humane Society International, that features the efforts made to stabilize the street dog population. in the Philippines. Before the launch of our humane program to reduce street dog population and rabies risk to people in Philippines in 2008, the government killed 9-10,000 dogs per year. Things are changing–in 2010, fewer than 500 dogs were killed.

I’m very proud of the way this piece came together. We got good feedback and support to continue the program in Philippines and extend it to other countries with dog overpopulation problems. The goal is to have a manageable dog population, so animals are protected from the life in the streets.
